Obviously the pandemic is stressing many businesses and business owners, but there is help available to try to support local businesses.
Mid Sussex District Council fully recognises that knowing what to apply for and how can be a challenge. In order to help the local business community MSDC is hosting a webinar at 1pm on Wednesday 20th January 2021 to try and make the help that is available simpler to understand and to advise you how to apply.
The session will cover Covid-19 business and discretionary grants as well as information on business rates reliefs. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.
The session will be chaired by the Council Leader, Jonathan Ash-Edwards. The Council's Business Unit Leader for Revenues and Benefits, Kevin Stewart, will present the information and answer any questions.
If you would like to attend please email covid19grants@midsussex.gov.uk giving your name, business name and type of business.
On Thursday, 19th November 2020 several members reported siting of suspicious traders offering 'cheap' tarmac services. Buyers beware.
Choose the correct option:

- Option 2 – If the threat is NOT immediate, call 101
- Option 3 – For matters of a more preventative nature that require local police involvement call 01273 470101
In all cases make a note of the Police case number, known as the CAD reference and please inform the Coordinator on martyn@bhbpa.co.uk
