BURGESS HILL's voice of local business

The BHBPA is a ‘not for profit’ company established to pursue the common business interests of our membership, speak with a coherent voice on local business matters and contribute positively to the wider local community. We view business as a key enabler of society at large and our local communities in particular.

meet some of our members

The membership base of BHBPA is wonderfully varied. Every business & organisation that is a member of BHBPA has a story to tell, as well as offering products and services that are highly relevant to their chosen customer segments.

Our members include global household brands, award winning domestic and international businesses as well as numerous local service providers. While some are part of huge multinational businesses, others are thriving owner / managed companies based purely in Burgess Hill. Some are sales distributors for renowned brands marketing products that we all rely on, yet others are industry innovators with specialist capabilities. Collectively our members ‘put Burgess Hill on the map’.

Sussex Police have written to BHBPA to raise our awareness of a scam that has been going around small businesses lately.

According to Police information, individuals are going around with letters to small businesses saying that they are required to have COVID-19 air purifiers installed and ask for money before payment.

There is no such thing as a COVID-19 air purifier yet small businesses have been scammed out of hundreds or pounds.

Please be aware of this scam taking place and to please contact the Police if anyone comes across this scam in their establishment.
