 Flex Physiotherapy opened in Burgess Hill during the covid pandemic. We are Matt Prout, Kieran Barnard and Alex Kyriacou. We all specialise physiotherapists working in the NHS. We previously ran Flex as a part time enterprise in two gym-based clinics, one in East Grinstead and one in Horsham. These clinics were forced to close due to covid and we were faced with either closing the business or reinventing ourselves. |

 A view of some of the facilities Some months into covid we found out that the only dedicated physiotherapy clinic in Burgess Hill was closing, thereby leaving a gap in the market. We therefore contacted some GP practices and asked if they would be interested in renting us a room. From humble beginnings working from GP rooms, we have grown quickly in the last couple of years and have now opened a modern purpose built clinic on Church Walk. |
 Advanced Practitioners We have 4 clinic rooms and a well-equipped rehabilitation gym. We have taken on Kim as our practice manager, we have 3 further part time clinicians and we have just employed our first full time physiotherapist who joins us from Brighton and Hove Albion football club. We are the only advanced practitioner led physiotherapy clinic in Mid Sussex and have a great wealth of knowledge and expertise. |
| We have good links with GPs and Consultants and we have referral rights for x rays, MRI scanning and blood tests. We also offer in-house ultrasound Imaging and guided injections. In terms of treatment, as well as traditional physiotherapy, we offer specialist knee bracing, shockwave therapy, injury prevention screening, women’s health and more. Our physios are educated to masters level and beyond. We have experts at the clinic who have published in research journals and textbooks and who mentor and lecture at an undergraduate and postgraduate level. We have enjoyed the journey so far and look forward to continuing to grow Flex into a busy thriving clinic within Burgess Hill and beyond. |
