Degree apprenticeships can future proof your business by filling skills gaps.
Apprenticeships are a win win for the employer and the learner. The apprentice benefits from staying in paid work and not incurring debt, applying their learning in the workplace and gaining a funded qualification. The employer benefits from tailored training that is applied in the workplace, Government funding and extra motivation amongst their team.
If a business pays the apprenticeship levy, 100% of the training cost will be covered. Smaller companies that don’t pay the levy will still be able to access at least 95% of the training cost or get a levy transfer.
The University of Sussex currently offer degree apprenticeships in:
- Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
- Data Science and AI
- Data Analytics and Digital Solutions
- Secondary Maths Teaching
The apprenticeship team are working with local businesses to scope new degree apprenticeships to launch in 2026 including Project Management and Electrical Engineer so get in touch to discuss how working together.
