The Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend

3 Races. 3 Towns. 3 Days.

Now in its 13th year, this unique and popular mixed terrain event brings together the running communities of Mid Sussex and beyond. Participants can challenge themselves to complete an individual town race, or complete the full marathon distance of 26.2 miles over three days.

With a reputation for enthusiastic warm hearted marshals, the camaraderie amongst runners, family friendly races, and scenic routes, the Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend is not to be missed! Features in Runner’s World UK top 24 races of 2024 (outside of London).

Youngsters, families and new runners can enter the Mid Sussex Fun Run or Mid Sussex Mile* races, which take place each day before the main race. PLUS those unable to attend the live event can still take part in our virtual race.

Day 1: Saturday 4th May – East Grinstead 10 Mile Race, at East Grinstead Rugby Club, Saint Hill Road, East Grinstead, RH19 4JU.
Day 2: Sunday 5th May – Haywards Heath 10 Mile Race, at Victoria Park, Haywards Heath, RH16 4LY.
Day 3: Monday 6th May – Burgess Hill 10K Race, at The Burgess Hill Academy, Station Road, Burgess Hill, RH15 9EA.The Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend is managed by Places Leisure in partnership with AHS Wellbeing, on behalf of Mid Sussex District Council, East Grinstead Town Council, Haywards Heath Town Council and Burgess Hill Town Council.

*The Mile race is for children aged 7 and over.
