Description:

Andersson First Aid Training offers accredited and regulated courses in Emergency First Aid at Work, First Aid at Work, First Aid for Mental Health and Paediatric First Aid. They also run first aid courses for school children and first aid for families in the home.

Katie Jardine set up Andersson First Aid Training in 2017 shortly after having her son, having spent over 15 years in the international events industry and dealing with multiple first aid incidences onsite in different countries. Having trained as an accredited tennis coach prior to this, it felt like an obvious step to combine knowledge, experience and teaching capabilities to gain a Level 3 Training and Education Award in conjunction with her First Aid Instructor Qualification.

Andersson First Aid Training prides themselves in running enjoyable, interactive and engaging courses which not only offer qualifications which satisfy the HSE or Ofqual and the EYFS but also give hands on experience to make you feel more confident you would be able to deal with a first aid incident if you needed to.  Having dealt with a number of basic first aid situations ‘on the ground,’ Katie knows how important it is to be able to take the knowledge you have learnt on a course and adapt it to the specific situation you are in.

Katie loves to teach a basic level of First Aid and First Aid for Mental Health to those who need it, whether adults at work or at home or children at school and believes it is vital as many people as possible know some basic first aid so we are all able to support each other should an incident arise.
