Nurturing talent, raising aspirations, and providing opportunities for local people to acquire and develop skills is a key objective in the Council’s Sustainable Economy Strategy which aims to foster a vibrant and sustainable economy. We need to continue to raise aspirations and develop the skills necessary to respond to the challenges and opportunities facing our local economy, ensuring that all our residents have the skills to enrich their lives and reach their full potential to meet the needs of our existing and future businesses. Working with local partners we continue to support STEM initiatives, such as Mid Sussex Science Week and the Mid Sussex STEM Challenge. |
