 To maintain our own internal high standards for the storage and distribution of frozen products we submit to annual external audits, measured against the BRC Global Standard for Storage and Distribution. This standard has now introduced, once every three years, unannounced audits, to ensure that those aspiring to meet the standard imbed the processes and procedures into their everyday working life, rather than doing so for a planned audit. |
| Therefore, on a cold Friday morning in January the auditor knocks on our door and announces that he’s here to carry out the audit. Due to the hard work of all staff, we achieved a AA+ Accreditation (the highest possible) with Zero non-conformities, which is a very rare occurrence. Only a few weeks prior to this our other depot in Ashford, Kent also achieved the same AA+ standard. We recognise that our suppliers, direct customers, and eventual consumers of products expect the highest possible standards from those handling their food products, and we are immensely proud of our teams who work tirelessly to ensure that we continue to improve year on year. |
