UKTI currently has a few places available on its flagship Passport to Export programme. The programme, which lasts for one year, is aimed at new or inexperienced exporters and includes advice and guidance from a local International Trade Adviser (ITA) and an interactive group workshop covering all the elements of exporting – what is your sales proposition, which market should you start with, what is your route to market etc. There is also a version for companies for whom E-commerce is their primary sales channel.
This programme is free of charge to eligible companies so if you would like to find out more, please contact Carolyn Bentley at Carolyn.bentley@uktisoutheast.com or telephone 07713 085371. If you are thinking about exporting or have been starting to react to orders from overseas for a while but need some structure and a plan, this could be a good way to kick start 2016.
