Travail Employment Group in Burgess Hill will celebrate its 10th anniversary in April, and the branch business at their offices in Church Road is flying as never before.
At the annual award ceremony in Sheffield last week for the national network of Travail branches, it was the team at Burgess Hill who came away with a clutch of awards. It proved to be a fantastic evening for the team led by Judi Arditi, who have made terrific progress over the last couple of years. Judi puts much of the success down to ‘going local’. She tells me that since they decided to concentrate on the local area, things have gone better and better, to the point where now they have never been busier. They recently advertised on a large billboard by the station and have been flooded with work locally
This was recognised in their receiving an award for Outstanding Performance in 2015, which places them in the elite group around the whole country.
Ann-Marie Shine Newton followed up last year’s Top Consultant Award with another finalist postion, while Lauren Pool won the top award of Administrator of the Year for her exceptional support work during the year. Maisie Stoneham might surely have won an award but she didn’t qualify as she has been working there under the minimum requirement of one year’s service. Maisie has been instrumental in the success of the branch.
Together these young women have been encouraged and led by Judi to become a formidable team whose awards are very well deserved. And they are an absolutely delightful bunch of people too!
