In September last year there was a call out to our members, just a short note in our opening remarks, requesting any unwanted IT equipment. The Computing, IT & Business department at the Burgess Hill Academy did not have any suitable up-to-date equipment the students could use to pursue their studies in school. Within a week of our request Roche Diagnostics responded with a very generous donation of 30 high-end refurbished HP laptops, with new operating systems pre-installed. These laptops provide desperately needed resources for this under-funded school and we know they’ll serve the academy’s students for many years to come. So a huge thank you to Roche Diagnostics, demonstrating a real commitment to our town’s future workforce. ![]() Burgess Hill Academy Students: Toby, Kyryl, Mona and Venkata with Lead Teacher for Computing, IT and Business, Ms Gaiger.
