Summer Coaching

Junior winter nets at Hurst College conclude on Sunday 7th April. Our indoor softball sessions at Burgess Hill Academy continue up until Tuesday 9th April.

Following these our outdoor Summer practices commence on Friday 12th April. Full details can be found on our website http://www.burgesshillcc.co.uk/summer-coaching. The timings are as follows;

Girls

U11, U13 and U16s commence at 4.15 pm and continue through to 5.40 pm, a slightly earlier finish. All coaching takes place in the nets for the older girls and on the outfield with use of the square and the artificial wicket for the U11s and younger.

Boys

U7, 8, 9 & 10s, 4.30 – 5.40 pm finishing a few minutes earlier than last season. All coaching takes place on the outfield plus use of the square and the artificial wicket.

U11s & U12s, 5.45 – 6.45 pm split between nets, artificial, square and the outfield.

U13s, 6.15 – 7.30 pm split between nets, artificial, square and the outfield.

U14s & 15s – 6.15 – 7.30 pm These two age groups will be coached as one group, split between nets, artificial, square and the outfield.

This year we will plan sessions to ensure there is an structured rotation between the nets, square, artificial and the outfield for the hard ball training sessions.

Ladies

Ladies training will take on Monday evenings from 6.00 pm through to 7.30 pm. U16 girls and those wishing to play senior cricket are encouraged to attend these sessions in addition to the Friday practices.

Adults

Adult nets will take place every Wednesday evening from 6.00 pm until dark.

All U16, 17 & 18s who wish to play adult cricket are encouraged to attend the Wednesday evening net sessions, where additional individual and group coaching will be provided.
