| A great deal of money was raised by a relatively small number of people This year, for one reason or another, we were down on some of our regular stalwart competing teams, but that didn’t stop us reaching a fantastic total for the evening: £460 We’d like to thank Dee, Lance and all the staff at The Woolpack for providing the quizmaster and the fabulous nachos that helped fuel the synapses as everyone competed for the magnificent accolade of being declared winner. That fell upon the team from Burgess Hill Town Football Club, winning not only at their own game on the pitch but ours on Wednesday evening! Well done to them and everyone else that came out to support a vital part of our local healthcare fabric, St Peter & St James Hospice. |
