The new library in Burgess Hill, part of the wider town centre regeneration, has now opened. It’s a bright modern space and a lovely public facility.
Business-people might want to know that upstairs there is a bank of 10 PCs to use, each with access to the Microsoft Office suite plus several Windows based browsers for internet access. There’s also some comfortable desks with power sockets suitable for a bit of quiet work and a small area for 1 2 1 conversations away from the office. You’re even allowed to take in a coffee – but sealed tops please.
A further couple of services which might interest the business community are COBRA (The Complete Business Reference Adviser) and eMagazines accessible either in the library or on-line.
