Roadworks update

Well it will be a long time before I predict ‘looking at next week things don’t look too bad’. This has been yet another frustrating week on the roads. Looking at the next couple of weeks, according to the One.Network web site, the ‘red’ dot roadworks are as follows:

• Ongoing – London Road closed between Marchants Way and Dunstall Avenue – Southern Gas – major impact with diversion in place
• Ongoing – Leylands Road – Network Rail – 2 way traffic control through to 31^st January –
• Ongoing – Gordon Road closure at Leylands Road – UK Power Networks with detour – unlikely to have much effect other than residents on Gordon Road
• New – Jane Murray Way – WSCC – traffic control on 30^th January only
