Many thanks to Dee & Lance of The Woolpack for yet again hosting a splendid Summer event For this event we had over 60 bookings at the final count with very few no shows. A whole hog was consumed by those in attendance, very ably cooked over nearly five hours by the Chef Mike and his team. It was an opportunity to mingle with new and old faces and I know many of our members made some new and valuable connections during the evening. It was also an opportunity to congratulate our hosts Dee and Lance who earlier in the year was a recipient of one of MSDC’s Mid Sussex Applauds awards. The Woolpack was awarded the Business in the Community Award for all the splendid fundraising it has achieved over the year, raising more than £15,000 for local good causes and providing space for many charitable groups to meet. |
