| The BHBPA AGM will be held on Wednesday morning March 26th We’ll be providing an overview of the various initiatives the association has been pursuing, such as our highly engaged commitment with local schools, and updates on the Victoria Business Park initiative to restrict parking in certain areas. |
 Jane Davey Our Guest Speaker Jane, a Chartered Accountant and long-time Burgess Hill resident, is also the Chair of Governors at The Burgess Hill Academy (TBHA) and a member of TBHA Support Group. The school is part of the University of Brighton Academy Trust but is currently undergoing a lot of change which will include being transferred to a different Academy Trust. Jane is an advocate for developing mutually positive and sustainable relationships between the school and the local business community for reasons of improved social mobility and providing opportunities for all. She believes that improving the school will improve the success of the whole town. |
| Jane will be on hand to explain why our local school is key to the whole community of Burgess Hill. She’ll reference the careers work that our members already support. She’ll also take time to explain the school’s priorities and how the business community can and is already supporting tomorrow’s employees. |
| Our Annual General Meeting will be held at the Oak Barn Restaurant. We’d like to thank Mark and his fantastic teams, front and back of house, for hosting us again. A light buffet breakfast will be available. We’ll start as always with 30 minutes of informal networking, followed by about 50 minutes of presentations and finishing off again with more networking. | The association will be presenting a summary of our annual accounts and an update on membership numbers. We’ll also be going into detail about the various initiatives, programmes and agendas of the association and what you can expect for 2025. Our two presentations are expected to take about 45 minutes, so there’ll be plenty of time for networking. We look forward to welcoming you, if you haven’t done so already book your place NOW!
