| We welcome another photographer to our membership Alex is a portrait photographer based in Ardingly, near Haywards Heath. She specialises in natural, relaxed, and vibrant photography that helps professionals and creatives look confident and approachable. With over 15 years of experience, Alex is known for her calm, friendly approach — many of her clients say they usually feel nervous in front of the camera, but she quickly puts them at ease and brings out their best. |
 Alex Rickard Her core focus is Corporate and Commercial Portrait Photography. Alex offers a full range of services tailored to businesses, including professional headshots, business portraits, personal branding sessions, food photography as well as private or corporate event coverage. She runs regular headshot days at Freshmill Offices in Haywards Heath (next one 5th June!) — a simple, low-pressure opportunity for professionals to update their profile image. Sessions are free to attend, with images available to purchase after viewing the final selection. |
| In addition to corporate work, Alex specialises in School Marketing and Prospectus Photography, working with both independent and state schools across the South East. Children were the foundation of her photography career, and this work brings together her love of working with young people and her commercial expertise. Her relaxed manner helps students feel at ease, resulting in warm, authentic images that reflect school life. She also photographs school productions — including theatre, music, and dance — and provides child actor headshots. Alex also runs photography courses for children and teenagers — a chance for young people to explore creativity, build confidence, and develop technical skills in a fun, supportive environment. She loves working with local businesses and is always looking forward to connecting with more organisations in the community. |
