| We had a fantastic turnout for what proved to be an enjoyable evening of gently competitive racing and networking We’d like to thank Panattoni Park Burgess Hill for their generous sponsorship of this event, which included the opportunity for our guests to try out the AR Kartz circuit, together with beautifully presented and delicious canapes, on hand for our guests and prepared by Tatjana Keenan of Indigo Events. All photography and video, also sponsored by Panattoni, provided by Gibson Blanc Photography. For the purposes of this article we only use very low resolution images. If you’d like any high res original, please get in touch, we’ll be happy to pass that image on. There are many other images…perhaps you’re in the mix? ![]() A lovely evening for a business get together Sound business arguments We began with a short overview of the commercial property market in Mid Sussex and the advantages of a new build such as one of the 12 still-available Panattoni units. This was provided by one of the agents for the site, Tim Hardwicke of Stiles Harold Williams. New units such as these offer ease of maintenance and low operating costs with natural lighting and are all fitted with solar panels. Sound business arguments for choosing new builds of this calibre. A fascinating entrepreneurial journey We then explored the fascinating entrepreneurial journey of the owner of AR Kartz, Rich Austin. A professional musician working in the Electronic Dance Music genre who has toured the world extensively, Rich also has a passion for motorcycles and Moto Sport. As is the way with a passion, he began tinkering in his shed with a better exhaust system for his own motorcycle. Trial and error and a new piece of kit for his bike gained the admiration of his motorcycle enthusiast friends from North America and Europe. A nascent business began online and grew rapidly. These exhaust systems use Incomel 625, a nickel-based super alloy with very high strength properties and resistance to elevated temperatures. This is the stuff they craft jet engine exhausts systems from. It’s incredibly difficult to machine. The F1 motorcycle world took notice and Austin Racing is now a partner to several teams. That passion for motorsport turned to go-karts and Rich has built an immersive indoor circuit second to none in the UK, using specially tweaked electric go-karts. Your next staff event Great for corporate events, family and children’s parties, stag and hen do’s, Challenge events and Club events, driver tuition is also available.
