There is a great new venture at St Edward’s Church in Burgess Hill, where a new cafe comes highly recommended. The Mustard Seed Cafe is now a BHBPA Member.
The cafe is open 3 days a week, Thur/Friday/Sat, is run solely by volunteers, and any profits are used for the community, e.g. young carers day, helping with meals in school holidays etc.
The breakfast and lunch menu is cooked to order and at a very reasonable price. There is always a selection of home made cakes on offer too.
On the weekend of July 14th /15th St Edward’s Church will be celebrating 50 years since its inauguration. On the 14th we will be hosting a free community BBQ, open to all, with music, games and activities for children. On the 15th at 6.00.p.m. there will be a special service taken by the Lord Bishop of Chichester, followed by free refreshments in The Weald.
I wonder if you could possibly add the details of these events in the newsletters for members. We would like to see lots of members join us on July 14th, but also at other times at the Mustard Seed Cafe !!
