Out of Hours Emergency Telephone Number
If you need Emergency Support due to COVID19, please call the West Sussex Community Hub on 033 022 27980.
If any query cannot wait you can call our Council Out of hours emergency telephone number of 0845 602 1035. Calls to this number cost 5p per minute plus your telephone company’s network access charge.
New Telephone System
Whilst contacting you could I please bring to your attention that the Council plans to implement a new corporate telephone system on Wednesday 16 December 2020. There may be some disruption for an hour or two to telephone calls during the day this Wednesday. Email and online access will be unaffected.
For any emails, work or messages received during the festive break we will respond as quickly as we can on our return to the office

The Council has an ‘employment support’ scheme that offers practical help and assistance in finding work. The scheme has the overall aim of helping residents avoid possible eviction through rent arrears by increasing their income through paid employment. This 1:1 service works with individuals to overcome any barriers they may have in entering the workplace.
