Additional Restriction Discretionary Grant – Available for All
Businesses operating from home or from a rateable or non-rateable property, where income has been significantly reduced due to the current pandemic can obtain assistance with ongoing business expenditure. Business expenditure can include rent, insurances, business loans, utilities and vehicle cost. We will include an allowance for working from a home office and home storage (business use) where appropriate. The Additional Restriction Discretionary Grant is open now. Lockdown Restriction Grants – Retail, Hospitality & Leisure Industry
Businesses operating from a rateable property that has been mandated to close or subject to restricted opening, including click and collect or a takeaway service, can obtain assistance with ongoing business expenditure. There are different grants for each tier or national lockdown and for different periods. Tier 2 grants are specifically aimed at the direct Hospitality and Leisure industry including pubs and clubs who were mandated to close or subject to restricted opening. Tier 4 grants are aimed at non-essential retail, direct hospitality and the leisure industry including personal care industries and gyms. National Lockdown Restriction Grants are aimed at business with rated properties who are mandated to close. Businesses can apply for multiple grants all these grants are open. COVID-19 Recovery Grants
Funding is available for businesses with projects primarily to support recovery and growth activities. Applications need to be made in advance of expenditure. Available for businesses with a minimum of 1.5 FTE. This closes on the 15th January 2021. Details and applications are through www.midsussex.gov.uk/businessgrants .
