Medconsultancy Ltd offers CFO/FD advisory services including acting as fractional/interim CFO/FD to small and medium sized businesses. We specialise in strategy and business case development, complex partnership negotiation, finance raising support and negotiation as well as general accounting and finance support and outsourcing.

We are a local family run business run by husband and wife team Mike and Jane Davey. Both Mike and Jane are Chartered Accountants who trained with Ernst & Young in their London office.

Mike has had a long career in financial services and private healthcare. His experience includes senior finance and commercial roles for Lloyds Bank, Prudential, AXA PPP and Police Mutual. Recently he has acted as CFO on both an interim and permanent basis for startups in the medical technology sector. He has also been a long-term advisor for US investors in the private healthcare sector. Mike is an expert at planning, negotiating and implementing complex business deals and partnerships having successfully negotiated and implemented many partnerships worth in excess £100m pa. He has also applied the same skills to negotiate deals for smaller organisations, particularly when they are taking on the daunting challenge of forming partnerships with much larger organizations. He has a passion for helping entrepreneurs exploit their business ideas in a controlled and financially sustainable way that gives them the greatest chance of realizing their business objectives.

Jane has held senior roles in finance and marketing in financial services in the UK. She has extensive consultancy experience. She combines this with her work in the local community as a school governor and a County Councillor.
