Latest Rail News

Work taking place this weekend, 23-24 March, will include:
• Upgrades between Keymer Junction to Montpellier Junction/Hove
• Insulated Block Joint recovery and re-railing at Balcombe
• Balcombe Tunnel junction renewal including signal moves and track circuit conversions
Replacement buses will run from Brighton and all stations to/from Haywards Heath. Please always check your journey before you travel on the National Rail Journey Planner

There are three weekends of work remaining – 30 & 31 March, 07 April and 05 May. The previously advertised work on 06 April has been postponed to accommodate Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club fans to travel to and from Wembley on Saturday, 06 April. The team have historically reached the FA Cup semi-finals and will meet Manchester City in what is set to be a thrilling game. As soon as we were made aware of the date and time of the game, we started discussions to reschedule the work planned for 06 April. We wish the Seagulls the very best of luck in this big match.

We look forward to working with you as the project draws to a close.

Kind regards,
Orlagh
