Course Outline

This course provides delegates with information about some basic cybersecurity principles and how their behaviours affect the security of their organisations. This enables them to reflect on their behaviours and change accordingly.

The course includes a highly interactive scenario where delegates solve clues to stop a cyber-attack.

• Attackers’ motivations
• Organisation’s information assets
• Potential consequences of a security incident
• Organisation’s main current cyber defences
• How one’s own actions can impact the organisation’s security
• What to do if they spot a security risk, an issue, or an incident
• Social engineering techniques

• Morning course 10.00am-12.00pm

Pricing

• Two hour course for BHBPA members = £145 + VAT per delegate
• Two hour course for Non-BHBPA members = £195 + VAT per delegate
• Two hour course for any charity = £95 + VAT per delegate*
  *At our discretion and subject to availability we can occasionally accept a charity delegate on this course for free

The full one day fee must be paid at least two weeks in advance before the workshop takes place.

Remote Worker Training

Subject to demand we can arrange Remote Worker sessions. These follow our normal structure, where we use an imaginary company to discuss cybersecurity issues. Please enquire about the next available dates outside those advertised.

Cancellation Terms

Two weeks before course date

If a company pulls their delegate out after having paid a workshop fee two weeks before course starts, they will either lose the amount they’ve paid or they can put someone else on the programme.
