This form is to capture BHBPA members thoughts and suggestions to help us provide input to Mid Sussex District Council and help shape their efforts to support businesses and the "road to economic recovery".
  • Please explain what support during the Covid-19 crisis to date has been really useful, and where it has come from.
  • How important a role do you think Mid Sussex District Council has with regards any post lockdown recovery in our local economy?
  • Please explain what Mid Sussex District Council can do to most help you and your business.
  • Please suggest any themes or actions that the Council should prioritise to support economic recovery in Burgess Hill and the local economy.
  • What regional and national support from central Government, the Local Enterprise Partner (Coast to Capital) or others should the Council lobby for to best support local businesses and economic recovery?
  • If there is anything else you think is extremely important that needs attention from the Council, what is it?
  • What else, if anything, do you need from the BHBPA to support you and your business?

"This association was started with a lot of effort from a few local businessmen and has proved to be a very powerful and useful tool for our business. The BHBPA has influence at the top level; when action is needed, the BHBPA gets it done. We are kept in touch with all that is happening on our doorstep and will often act because of what is published in the weekly emails / newsletters."

"The BHBPA is an energetic and vocal organisation that connects and empowers and informs the local business community acting as an effective conduit to local authority and other organisations. We are proud to be part of that community and the association."

"The BHBPA is a fantastic hub for our business community to get together and catch up, discuss important local issues and connect new and interesting enterprises."

"“I have belonged to this group since I started my own business, Lea Graham Associates, in 1986. The association has been through several incarnations since then, but its most recent one, BHBPA, is by far the best.

It’s much more than just a networking group, although it is supremely good at that too. BHBPA is inclusive and friendly and acts like a mutual-support society. The events are stimulating, worthwhile and often great fun and I believe most members share this opinion.”"
