| Including the launch of our annual Gingerbread House Competition We are back at The Woolpack, many thanks to Dee, Lance and all the team for supporting us and hosting another Christmas event in the super festive surroundings of a great cosy Sussex pub. The usual mulled wine and mince pies will be on offer…but we also have something special this year…and a trophy will be given on the night to recognise the finest Gingerbread House in Burgess Hill.  Last year’s event was a hoot! BHBPA 2025 Gingerbread House Decorating Competition Compete against other BHBPA businesses, schools and community groups in our fun competition. The competition will be judged on imagination, inspiration, and appearance. The winner of the competition will get to take home a gingerbread house trophy! Who will be the first name on the silverware? |
| For each £50 entry you receive a high-quality, locally made, traditional gingerbread house kit measuring approx.14cm at the base, 19cm high and 14cm deep, fitting on an 8”/20cm board. The kit includes pre-baked gingerbread house pieces, board, instructions, 3 piping bags, a mini candy cane and 3 small packs of sweet decorations to get you started. Multiple entries accepted. 80% of the entry fee comes direct to Safe in Sussex to help those affected by domestic abuse. |
 You can do better than this! Of course you can! Entering our first BHBPA Business Competition gives your business the opportunity to demonstrate corporate social responsibility by supporting Safe in Sussex domestic abuse charity within your local community – whilst highlighting our essential services to your staff. This is great for team building opportunity for your business! You could even buy extra kits for your staff so you can run an internal gingerbread house decorating competition – either inter-departmental or just as individuals. |
| Once you have paid your £50 fee, you can then buy additional traditional gingerbread house kits (£30 each) and have your own mini competition to choose the winning house to enter the BHBPA business competition.
