An Introduction to Export Procedures  – The King’s Centre – Burgess Hill – Monday 22 January 2018 0930 – 1630

This export training course is designed to provide an overview of the terminology, procedures and documentation used in the export process and to explain the responsibilities and obligations of all parties.

Attendees should should gain an understanding of the export process from first enquiry to arrival of the goods at destination and the course will highlight the possible pitfalls that can await the unwary. It will include a summary of The Incoterms®2010 Rules

Following the seminar, delegates should be able to :
• Establish a working relationship with a freight forwarder/parcels operator
• Evaluate an export enquiry
• Select the most appropriate Incoterm® Rule
• Arrange cargo insurance
• Understand the basis of export payments
• Identify and collate the documents required
• Understand the role of customs
