I am delighted to be writing to you to share Coast to Capital’s Skills Strategy and Action Plan.
The Skills Strategy and Action Plan was developed in response to the affect Covid-19 has had on our region, and details how we will work with our Skills 360 Board and partners to support skills for economic recovery, as well as our medium to longer term priorities.
Alongside the Skills Strategy and Action Plan we have also produced a Skills and Labour Market Impact Assessment providing valuable intelligence on how Covid-19 has impacted on the labour market, the availability of jobs and the skills needs in the Coast to Capital area.
Both documents can be found on our website.
The Skills 360 Board are currently making plans for an official Skills Strategy and Action Plan Launch Event, where we’ll be discussing how we’ll be engaging and working in collaboration with our public, private and third sector partners to take forward the priorities within the plan. The event will be held virtually in early December 2020 and further details are to follow.
In the meantime, please do get in touch if you would like to discuss any aspect of our plan.
