Off the pitch

Lost Property – A small child’s ‘Mountain Warehouse’ coat, colour red was left at SJP after training the other week. An iPhone4 was found on the playing area last Friday. A grey hoodie was left at the winter training. Please contact Geoff on Friday evening if these are yours or your child’s.

Youth training – Every Friday evening at Youth Coaching the Club Bar and kitchen in the Pavilion will be open for the sale of drinks, soft drinks, tea and coffee, crisps etc. We are very grateful to Lorraine, Theresa and Sarah for doing this on behalf of the club. The bar is a major source of income to the club, enabling us to keep annual subscriptions as low as possible. We have also purchased new patio bistro seating to enable you to enjoy the cricket and a drink in the evening sunshine. Please take advantage of the facilities provided and support the club.

Membership – Subscriptions are now due and we would like these to be paid before 31st May. These represent great value compared to most other cricket clubs. We do not charge match fees for junior games nor do we charge for winter nets. So we would appreciate it if those still to pay could settle them as soon as possible. Full details are available here.

Kit vouchers – All parents for whom we have an email address should have received a £10 voucher to use to offset the cost of purchasing a white Youths club shirt, through the Club’s online shop operated by Kalibazar. We would like all players, when representing the club, to wear a white BHCC shirt so that they look a team and a part of the club. It is thanks to the continued sponsorship of CNC that we are able to offer this voucher and subsidise the cost. If your child already has a white BHCC shirt, the voucher can be offset against the cost of other items of BHCC clothing from the Youth section.

Youth training kit – Parents have asked about the bright green training tops that many of the children wear on Friday evenings. These are available from GR Teamwear from their shop at the top of Church Rd in Burgess Hill. These are sold at £5.99 for children and this price is subsidised by GR as part of their sponsorship of the club.
