Second XI – six wickets from Bobby Barnes blew league leaders Rottingdon II away. Dan Maskell also took four as Rottingdean could only muster 129 all out. Phil Wickwar then steadied the ship with 43 and 28 from Steve Cromb guided Hill to a three wicket win. Report.
Third XI – did brilliantly with only nine men and skipper Paul Elphick on holiday to secure a draw against Cowden 1st XI, who it must be said also only had nine men! Cowden scored an impressive 260-3 declared but Hill dug in and Andy McNiven scored 43, Mason Foley 54 and Niall Murphy 61 not out as they ended 194-6 from 45 overs. Report.

Gray-Nicholls T20 Cup – Hill traveled to Preston Nomads for their quarter final fixture. Batting first a patient innings from Hill produced just 80 all out in the final over, Hill owing much to 35 from the returning Karl Boffey. In reply regular wickets gave Hill hope as Hugh Warmisham took 3-20. Nomads wobbled at 53-5 but steadied themselves to eventually win by five wickets. Report.

Midweek T20 – there was unprecedented drama as Hill crashed out the Henfield Cup in dramatic style on Monday night. Batting first Hill scored 143-6 from their 20 overs. The 19 overs that followed left Steyning needing 11 to win from the final over. It all boiled down to five being needed from the final ball which was struck for a one bounce four over mid-wicket. With the scores level and both teams having lost six wickets it was believed that Steyning had won on countback but after checking the rules this was deemed incorrect and the result of the game was to be decided on a coin toss, a coin toss Hill would go on to lose.
