On Thursday 30th July, BHBPA member Volker Ballueder – (www.balluederpartners.com) – presented the “Business Model Generation” by Strategyzer and the fundamental tool of the Business Model Canvas. Used by many many consultants worldwide, the canvas helps business leaders evaluate their business model, a vital activity in these times of great change.
The book of the same name describes itself as being for ‘entrepreneurial spirits, people who constantly think about how to create value and build new businesses, or how to improve or transform an organisation’.
Our thanks to Volker who gave some great input to the members who attended and hopefully it will be a catalyst for their business planning as we all confront challenges such as Covid19 and Brexit.
"“I can’t speak highly enough of the BHBPA. As a small local business we feel very much part of a community and thoroughly enjoy the annual exhibition and meetings throughout the year. Over the years we have built fantastic working relationships with many BHBPA members and every meeting and event offers us opportunities to work with more. This is networking at its best! ” "
"“I have belonged to this group since I started my own business, Lea Graham Associates, in 1986. The association has been through several incarnations since then, but its most recent one, BHBPA, is by far the best.
It’s much more than just a networking group, although it is supremely good at that too. BHBPA is inclusive and friendly and acts like a mutual-support society. The events are stimulating, worthwhile and often great fun and I believe most members share this opinion.”"
"The BHBPA is an energetic and vocal organisation that connects and empowers and informs the local business community acting as an effective conduit to local authority and other organisations. We are proud to be part of that community and the association."
"The BHBPA is the most effective and dynamic business organisation I have ever worked with in over 30 years in Local Government. It has a very active and large membership whose points of view are taken seriously by all government structures. Peter Liddell does an excellent job in providing unique and enjoyable networking opportunities where members interact and discuss points of mutual interest. It provides a forum for businesses to discuss common issues, to share experiences and to play a powerful and meaningful role in the Burgess Hill community. The BHBPA provides important and credible support for all its members and ensures that their best interests are represented where necessary. "
