News: Redundancy & Restructure Guidance

Posted on 4th June 2020

Our friends at Sherrards Law have been very proactive over the last few months providing very useful information and guidance to businesses about issues such as furloughing during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Below is a link to some notes from one of their recent Redundancy & Restructure webinars that many members will find very useful. Sherrards would particularly like to draw business leaders’ attention to paragraph 4 in the notes – namely that any further employees to be furloughed must be put on furlough leave by Wednesday, June 10th.

"Regular, well organised events, excellent updates and information by email along with a warm welcome from the Chair and Coordinator are just some of the positives at BHBPA."

Mike Oliver, Owner

"I am delighted to have a long-standing relationship with the BHBPA. Since its foundation the Association has gone from strength to strength and there is no doubt that it has brought huge benefits to its members and the business community as a whole through the partnerships it has formed with the local authorities, Sussex Police and local organisations. It is paramount that Burgess Hill businesses have an effective collective voice."
