Sussex accountancy firm MHA Carpenter Box is expanding in Crawley as it moves to new offices to meet the growing demand for its services.
The firm opened an office in Gatwick in 2015 and has seen business grow rapidly, outstripping all forecasts. Just five team members initially worked at the office but, only five years later, the number has grown to over 40 business, tax and financial advisers, who work with businesses in and around the Crawley/Gatwick area.
The new, larger premises at Peveril Court, London Road, Crawley – just across the car park from the previous offices – give team members more room and allows for agile working so individuals can work flexibly and with minimum constraints to optimise their performance.
Robert Dowling, Partner and Head of Assurance & Advisory at the Gatwick office, commented: “When we opened in Gatwick our aim was to help our clients grow successful and profitable businesses by delivering specialist business advice using our expertise in accountancy, tax and audit. Our speed of growth has been tremendous and reflects our ability to attract new business and the quality of the service we deliver.”
"This association was started with a lot of effort from a few local businessmen and has proved to be a very powerful and useful tool for our business. The BHBPA has influence at the top level; when action is needed, the BHBPA gets it done. We are kept in touch with all that is happening on our doorstep and will often act because of what is published in the weekly emails / newsletters."
"The BHBPA is an energetic and vocal organisation that connects and empowers and informs the local business community acting as an effective conduit to local authority and other organisations. We are proud to be part of that community and the association."
"“We have been members of BHBPA from its inception, and seen the organisation steadily grow and expand into the dynamic entity it is today, bringing positive benefits to all its members.""
"“I have belonged to this group since I started my own business, Lea Graham Associates, in 1986. The association has been through several incarnations since then, but its most recent one, BHBPA, is by far the best.
It’s much more than just a networking group, although it is supremely good at that too. BHBPA is inclusive and friendly and acts like a mutual-support society. The events are stimulating, worthwhile and often great fun and I believe most members share this opinion.”"
