Toys Top Santa’s List for Travail This Christmas

Burgess Hill recruitment specialist Travail Employment Group is joining in with More Radio’s Christmas Toy Appeal 2019. The appeal runs from 11 November until 15 December 2019.

The appeal encourages everyone to donate a new toy suitable for disadvantaged young children and teenagers living in Sussex. More Radio then distributes the toys to children and teenagers across the local area. The recipients are children who might not otherwise receive a present at Christmas, they might be spending the festive season in hospital or suffer from a physical or learning disability.

More Radio will be airing the appeal at regular intervals on its channel directing listeners to check out local drop off points from its website and this will be supported by a poster campaign placed in prime locations.

In addition to the offices at Travail being a Drop Off Point, the team are including the appeal on their email signatures. They will also be contacting all their clients in the coming days and weeks encouraging them to donate a toy, with the offer to collect donations to make it as easy as possible.

Director and Founder of the Burgess Hill branch of Travail, Judi Arditi, is thrilled to be taking part, “We are keen to collect sackfuls of toys this Christmas, to help those most in need and the whole team are happy to have been  recruited as Santa’s little helpers.  We couldn’t stretch to reindeer but we do have three office dogs that may be out on the road with the office elves this year!”

"“I have belonged to this group since I started my own business, Lea Graham Associates, in 1986. The association has been through several incarnations since then, but its most recent one, BHBPA, is by far the best.

It’s much more than just a networking group, although it is supremely good at that too. BHBPA is inclusive and friendly and acts like a mutual-support society. The events are stimulating, worthwhile and often great fun and I believe most members share this opinion.”"

Susan Fleet, Managing Director
(Lea Graham Associates)

"If Carlsberg did networking they would do it the BHBPA way. Each event is packed with great ideas, thought provoking presentations and fun. As a small business we feel supported and part of the community. We have built friendships and business relationships and there is always plenty of advice on hand to benefit us all so don’t hesitate to join whatever the nature of your business. "

Angela Gill, Managing Director
(Bio Productions Ltd)

"“I can’t speak highly enough of the BHBPA. As a small local business we feel very much part of a community and thoroughly enjoy the annual exhibition and meetings throughout the year. Over the years we have built fantastic working relationships with many BHBPA members and every meeting and event offers us opportunities to work with more. This is networking at its best! ” "

Judi Arditi, Director
(Travail Employment Group)

"“Sutton Winson have been members of the BHBPA for around 7 years. We have found it a great way to keep in touch with Burgess Hill businesses and to meet with likeminded people. It’s not just another “networking” group, as it tackles the real issues and gets things done”"

Bruce Millington, Manager
