News: Toy Appeal for Christmas

Posted on 24th October 2019

More Radio Mid Sussex are looking for your Toy donations this Christmas where we will look to supply these out into our charities across Sussex and locally in Mid Sussex with likes of Kangaroos and DVLCC and Forward Facing and Chailey Heritage and many in our community who are going to be less fortunate than others!

We will have main Tesco store in Burgess Hill as a larger public drop point but also have been kindly supported by our friends at Travail Employment Group, 7a Church Road, Burgess Hill who are happy to take donations from Monday 11th November on our Radio to start gaining local contributions of New Toys that you can spare to help others this runs until 15th December.

Look out for the updates on how it is all going and thanks again for Travail Employment Groups support this year!

Testimonials

"This association was started with a lot of effort from a few local businessmen and has proved to be a very powerful and useful tool for our business. The BHBPA has influence at the top level; when action is needed, the BHBPA gets it done. We are kept in touch with all that is happening on our doorstep and will often act because of what is published in the weekly emails / newsletters."

"“I have belonged to this group since I started my own business, Lea Graham Associates, in 1986. The association has been through several incarnations since then, but its most recent one, BHBPA, is by far the best.

It’s much more than just a networking group, although it is supremely good at that too. BHBPA is inclusive and friendly and acts like a mutual-support society. The events are stimulating, worthwhile and often great fun and I believe most members share this opinion.”"

Susan Fleet, Managing Director
(Lea Graham Associates)

"“I can’t speak highly enough of the BHBPA. As a small local business we feel very much part of a community and thoroughly enjoy the annual exhibition and meetings throughout the year. Over the years we have built fantastic working relationships with many BHBPA members and every meeting and event offers us opportunities to work with more. This is networking at its best! ” "

Judi Arditi, Director
(Travail Employment Group)

"The BHBPA is an energetic and vocal organisation that connects and empowers and informs the local business community acting as an effective conduit to local authority and other organisations. We are proud to be part of that community and the association."
