News: Bake Off Coming Soon

Posted on 10th October 2019

Ready, Steady, Bake … Wednesday 30 October

in support of St Peter & St James Hospice.

The Great BHBPA Bake Off is coming up at The Kings Church soon and we need your support on this.

1. PLEASE bake a cake, or implore your colleagues to bake one.

2. Bake a corporate cake

There is a section for Corporate Cakes to be judged, so make sure, if you can, that your colleague who is the ace baker is given the time and the tools to bake one for the team. If you don’t know someone who likes baking just ask around in your office or workplace and you’ll find someone. Actually it might get a conversation going too. We want to see entries with company colours and names piped on them; we want some imagination and some fun offerings if possible, perhaps company name or colours or logos or some witty comment as on the top pic above.  Please give it your best shot. Thanks for your support again.

Bring it in on the morning of October 30th to The King’s Centre and leave it for the judging panel to see. Then you can return at 12 noon for some food and drinks and find out the decisions of the judges. You or your company might win!

"This association was started with a lot of effort from a few local businessmen and has proved to be a very powerful and useful tool for our business. The BHBPA has influence at the top level; when action is needed, the BHBPA gets it done. We are kept in touch with all that is happening on our doorstep and will often act because of what is published in the weekly emails / newsletters."

"If Carlsberg did networking they would do it the BHBPA way. Each event is packed with great ideas, thought provoking presentations and fun. As a small business we feel supported and part of the community. We have built friendships and business relationships and there is always plenty of advice on hand to benefit us all so don’t hesitate to join whatever the nature of your business. "

"The BHBPA is the most effective and dynamic business organisation I have ever worked with in over 30 years in Local Government. It has a very active and large membership whose points of view are taken seriously by all government structures. Peter Liddell does an excellent job in providing unique and enjoyable networking opportunities where members interact and discuss points of mutual interest. It provides a forum for businesses to discuss common issues, to share experiences and to play a powerful and meaningful role in the Burgess Hill community. The BHBPA provides important and credible support for all its members and ensures that their best interests are represented where necessary. "

"“I can’t speak highly enough of the BHBPA. As a small local business we feel very much part of a community and thoroughly enjoy the annual exhibition and meetings throughout the year. Over the years we have built fantastic working relationships with many BHBPA members and every meeting and event offers us opportunities to work with more. This is networking at its best! ” "
