The Sussex PA Network are pleased to announce that Maarten Hoffmann, CEO from the Platinum Group will be our guest speaker at Malmaison at Brighton Marina on Tuesday 15th October. Our free to attend event runs from 5.30pm to 7.30pm with plenty of free parking at Brighton Marina.
We will also be running a competition during the evening for one of our attendees to win an English Sparkling Wine trip for two aboard the Brighton i360, courtesy of Wayte Corporate Travel. There will be an opportunity to meet the team and view the meeting & events space at Malmaison as well as networking and refreshments.
Maarten is delighted to announce that Platinum will launch the first ever Business Magazine for Women – written for women by women, entitled DYNAMIC. Dynamic will aim to inspire and empower women in a world that, shockingly, is still far from equal and one day we hope to cease publication due to there being no need for such a magazine. Incredibly, there are more men running companies in the FTSE 500 called Dave than all the women put together! As reported by the CEO of RBS Commercial Banking, Alison Rose in the recent Rose Review government report, if women opened businesses at the same rate as men, it would add £280 billion to the UK economy.
Maarten is the Publisher of Dynamic and to ensure the content is relevant and inspiring he formed a Steering Committee of some of the most influential and powerful women in the region, headed by Rosemary French OBE, and comprising women such as Rt. Hon. Amber Rudd MP, Baroness Michelle Mone, Baroness Karren Brady and Alison Rose to name just a few, who guide the editorial content.
Dynamic is one of the most important new publications of the decade aimed at an increasingly influential demographic and already, pre-launch, has a subscription rate of over 600,000 women.
Maarten will explain why there is a need for such a publication, what the campaigning issues will be, cover the ever-changing content and will be delighted to take questions.

"The BHBPA is the most effective and dynamic business organisation I have ever worked with in over 30 years in Local Government. It has a very active and large membership whose points of view are taken seriously by all government structures. Peter Liddell does an excellent job in providing unique and enjoyable networking opportunities where members interact and discuss points of mutual interest. It provides a forum for businesses to discuss common issues, to share experiences and to play a powerful and meaningful role in the Burgess Hill community. The BHBPA provides important and credible support for all its members and ensures that their best interests are represented where necessary. "
"“Sutton Winson have been members of the BHBPA for around 7 years. We have found it a great way to keep in touch with Burgess Hill businesses and to meet with likeminded people. It’s not just another “networking” group, as it tackles the real issues and gets things done”"
"As MP for Mid Sussex I believe passionately in the importance of a vibrant local business community in order to create and sustain fantastic opportunities that enable people to meet their responsibilities, prosper and fulfil their potential. I am committed to collaborating with BHBPA and others to be an effective collective voice for Burgess Hill."
"As the local hospice for the area, it’s great that we receive so much support from the BHBPA. Last year the members raised an amazing £2150 through activities such as Bake Off and the BHBiz Awards. Each well planned members meeting enables good networking opportunities and speakers that are relevant to the present climate and local issues. We are proud to be members of BHBPA."
