The article compares interactions between a mystery shopper and other local Independent Financial Advisers in the Brighton & Hove area.
The shopper was trying to buy a one bed property worth £250,000. They mentioned having a deposit worth £40,000 saved up and a salary of £45,000. The shopper said they already own a place in Belgium. They were trying to find out how much stamp duty they would have to pay, and whether she can afford the property if she pays higher stamp duty.
