News: Thanks from Travail Team

Posted on 2nd July 2019

Hello!

Just a quick thank you message from us at Travail Employment Group…

We at Travail Employment gladly and madly put heart and soul in to the Colour Obstacle Rush Run in Brighton on Saturday 22nd June!  The sun shone over Brighton racecourse where hundreds of teams took part, raising funds for chosen charities, ours being St Peter and St James Hospice, who provide support to so many in the mid Sussex area.

We’re proud to confirm that we’ve raised over £1600 to date, doubling our original goal of £800!

We have attached a couple of “before and after” photos from the day, sadly (or thankfully) the course photographer didn’t capture any of us on the course but these do demonstrate just how colourful we ended up!

A huge Thank You from Sarah, Lauren, Elle and Pheobe to all those – businesses and individuals  alike – who have sponsored us, we are so very grateful and overwhelmed by your generosity! If you’d still like to help us help St Peter and St James Hospice please visit https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/Team/TeamTravail where there’s still time to make a donation!

Testimonials

"This association was started with a lot of effort from a few local businessmen and has proved to be a very powerful and useful tool for our business. The BHBPA has influence at the top level; when action is needed, the BHBPA gets it done. We are kept in touch with all that is happening on our doorstep and will often act because of what is published in the weekly emails / newsletters."

Steve Mooney
(Steven Mooney Machinery)

"The BHBPA is the most effective and dynamic business organisation I have ever worked with in over 30 years in Local Government. It has a very active and large membership whose points of view are taken seriously by all government structures. Peter Liddell does an excellent job in providing unique and enjoyable networking opportunities where members interact and discuss points of mutual interest. It provides a forum for businesses to discuss common issues, to share experiences and to play a powerful and meaningful role in the Burgess Hill community. The BHBPA provides important and credible support for all its members and ensures that their best interests are represented where necessary. "

Steve Cridland, CEO
(Burgess Hill Town Council)

"“We have been members of BHBPA from its inception, and seen the organisation steadily grow and expand into the dynamic entity it is today, bringing positive benefits to all its members.""

Peter Hook, Manager
(Computer Systems Engineers)

"“I can’t speak highly enough of the BHBPA. As a small local business we feel very much part of a community and thoroughly enjoy the annual exhibition and meetings throughout the year. Over the years we have built fantastic working relationships with many BHBPA members and every meeting and event offers us opportunities to work with more. This is networking at its best! ” "
