News: Play Days

Posted on 24th May 2019

I am writing just to share with you information on a series of upcoming events, called Play Days, within the District to which we are seeking support from local businesses.  The Plays Days are free outdoor, community focused events which offer a range of activities for families (https://www.midsussex.gov.uk/about-us/press-releases-and-publications/children-turn-out-in-record-numbers-for-play-days/).

The Council would be interested in getting businesses within the area of their town to sponsor and support the event, so that we might be able to expand the offer of activities. We would be looking for support in the range of £50 – £450.

With this in mind, I wonder if you would be able to advise please as to whether or not you think any of your members would be interested in the first instance? We are also still working on what we might be able to offer sponsoring businesses in return, I don’t suppose you would have an suggestions from similar events you might have run in the past?

Once we know exactly what the offer will be, our team can prepare a more comprehensive information sheet which can be shared with your members.

Please let me know what you think,

Many thanks,

Will

"The BHBPA is the most effective and dynamic business organisation I have ever worked with in over 30 years in Local Government. It has a very active and large membership whose points of view are taken seriously by all government structures. Peter Liddell does an excellent job in providing unique and enjoyable networking opportunities where members interact and discuss points of mutual interest. It provides a forum for businesses to discuss common issues, to share experiences and to play a powerful and meaningful role in the Burgess Hill community. The BHBPA provides important and credible support for all its members and ensures that their best interests are represented where necessary. "
