News: Barclays Eagle Lab, Brighton

Posted on 1st May 2019

Barclays Eagle Labs are a growing network of incubator, co-working and maker spaces in key locations across the UK.

Last year, we brought together the Law Society, 15 major law firms, 2 universities and an events partner in a legal industry first – a commitment to work together to transform the legal industry through innovation and technology.
Our dedicated LawTech Lab, based in London’s Notting Hill is now a thriving centre of excellence for LawTech start-ups with more than 20 businesses choosing it as their home.
We’ll be hosting LawTech events across our entire Eagle abs network over the coming months but get in touch with our dedicated LawTech team if you would like to find out more in the meantime.

"Regular, well organised events, excellent updates and information by email along with a warm welcome from the Chair and Coordinator are just some of the positives at BHBPA."

Mike Oliver, Owner
(Mike Oliver Associates)

"As the local hospice for the area, it’s great that we receive so much support from the BHBPA. Last year the members raised an amazing £2150 through activities such as Bake Off and the BHBiz Awards. Each well planned members meeting enables good networking opportunities and speakers that are relevant to the present climate and local issues. We are proud to be members of BHBPA."

Wendy Agate, Community Fund Raising Manager
(St Peter & St James Hospice)

"As MP for Mid Sussex I believe passionately in the importance of a vibrant local business community in order to create and sustain fantastic opportunities that enable people to meet their responsibilities, prosper and fulfil their potential. I am committed to collaborating with BHBPA and others to be an effective collective voice for Burgess Hill."

Mims Davies MP, Member of Parliament for Mid Sussex

"The BHBPA is the most effective and dynamic business organisation I have ever worked with in over 30 years in Local Government. It has a very active and large membership whose points of view are taken seriously by all government structures. Peter Liddell does an excellent job in providing unique and enjoyable networking opportunities where members interact and discuss points of mutual interest. It provides a forum for businesses to discuss common issues, to share experiences and to play a powerful and meaningful role in the Burgess Hill community. The BHBPA provides important and credible support for all its members and ensures that their best interests are represented where necessary. "

Steve Cridland, CEO
(Burgess Hill Town Council)
