Earlier this month, the team at Travail Employment Group did something Yummy for Money! Red Nose Day gave us the perfect opportunity to fulfill one of our aims for this year, namely to raise money and awareness for charity. It also gave us the chance to put our recruitment skills on the back burner and bring our baking skills to the fore!
Our Comic Relief Bake Sale meant we caught up with clients and candidates, old and new, and raised an impressive £240.00 from the sale of muffins, brownies, cupcakes, – ok we’ll stop now! This figure, combined with Facebook and direct donations brought the grand total for the event to a fabulous £422.00! Thanks to all those who supported the event, we hope you enjoyed the cakes – we did! – and it was a fun way to support Comic Relief.
And so, what’s next? Well, on On Saturday 22nd June – Elle, Lauren, Phoebe and Sarah will be running in the Colour Obstacle Rush event in Brighton, in support of St Peter & St James hospice. It’s a charity close to our hearts, and as a local business and fellow member of the BHBPA, we felt the hospice was a fantastic charity to support and raise money for.
Help us to help St Peter & St James Hospice by visiting our Virgin Money Giving page https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/Team/TeamTravail to make a donation if you can.

"The BHBPA is the most effective and dynamic business organisation I have ever worked with in over 30 years in Local Government. It has a very active and large membership whose points of view are taken seriously by all government structures. Peter Liddell does an excellent job in providing unique and enjoyable networking opportunities where members interact and discuss points of mutual interest. It provides a forum for businesses to discuss common issues, to share experiences and to play a powerful and meaningful role in the Burgess Hill community. The BHBPA provides important and credible support for all its members and ensures that their best interests are represented where necessary. "
"“We have been members of BHBPA from its inception, and seen the organisation steadily grow and expand into the dynamic entity it is today, bringing positive benefits to all its members.""
"The BHBPA is a fantastic hub for our business community to get together and catch up, discuss important local issues and connect new and interesting enterprises."
"“I have belonged to this group since I started my own business, Lea Graham Associates, in 1986. The association has been through several incarnations since then, but its most recent one, BHBPA, is by far the best.
It’s much more than just a networking group, although it is supremely good at that too. BHBPA is inclusive and friendly and acts like a mutual-support society. The events are stimulating, worthwhile and often great fun and I believe most members share this opinion.”"
