What a great gesture on the part of SEBS in Haywards Heath! And what an advertisement for the newsletter! Many thanks for letting me know about this, Dominic.
Dominic wrote last week asking if anyone could supply a good sized, maybe old screen on which they could show green spaces around Burgess Hill at public events in the Bedelands Nature reserve to promote conservation.
He wrote again on Wednes this week …
I had just one reply to my request for a fairly large monitor screen, but what a reply! I was expecting maybe a used screen that one of your member businesses wanted rid of, but S E Business Systems in Haywards Heath donated us a brand-new, 27 inch, high definition, LED, backlit display monitor. This was so generous – I can hardly thank them enough. We will treasure this fine piece of equipment & use it at public events to encourage wildlife conservation.
Thanks very much for helping to bring this about.
"Regular, well organised events, excellent updates and information by email along with a warm welcome from the Chair and Coordinator are just some of the positives at BHBPA."
"“I have belonged to this group since I started my own business, Lea Graham Associates, in 1986. The association has been through several incarnations since then, but its most recent one, BHBPA, is by far the best.
It’s much more than just a networking group, although it is supremely good at that too. BHBPA is inclusive and friendly and acts like a mutual-support society. The events are stimulating, worthwhile and often great fun and I believe most members share this opinion.”"
"As MP for Mid Sussex I believe passionately in the importance of a vibrant local business community in order to create and sustain fantastic opportunities that enable people to meet their responsibilities, prosper and fulfil their potential. I am committed to collaborating with BHBPA and others to be an effective collective voice for Burgess Hill."
"As the local hospice for the area, it’s great that we receive so much support from the BHBPA. Last year the members raised an amazing £2150 through activities such as Bake Off and the BHBiz Awards. Each well planned members meeting enables good networking opportunities and speakers that are relevant to the present climate and local issues. We are proud to be members of BHBPA."
