To whom it may concern,
The 5th Burgess Hill (Worlds End) Scout Group are fundraising to raise funds towards building a new Scout Hut at our location behind Wivelsfield train station in Burgess Hill.
Originally built in the early 1960s, the hut has deteriorated significantly over the years of regular use. We have recently been lucky enough to acquire the land the hut sits on, which gives us the opportunity to build a new, modern and purpose-built premises which will benefit our Scouts and potentially also the wider community as the hut is also used by other groups and organisations from time to time.
To help us in our efforts, we are looking for donations (big and small) to offer as prizes for a Raffle Draw, which will take place at our AGM on Friday 10th May 2019. We have acquired a Raffle Licence to maximise our ticket sales and have been fortunate enough to secure two tickets to New York, flying with Virgin Atlantic Airways.
We would be extremely grateful if you would consider donating a prize. Prizes we consider will attract the most sales will be our top prizes and will mention the sponsor on the ticket. All prizes will be gratefully received and raffled and a full list of prizes, as well as the donating company, will be made available.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at the below contact details, or speak to our committee member who has made contact with you.
Thanks in advance for your consideration,

"The BHBPA is a fantastic hub for our business community to get together and catch up, discuss important local issues and connect new and interesting enterprises."
"“I have belonged to this group since I started my own business, Lea Graham Associates, in 1986. The association has been through several incarnations since then, but its most recent one, BHBPA, is by far the best.
It’s much more than just a networking group, although it is supremely good at that too. BHBPA is inclusive and friendly and acts like a mutual-support society. The events are stimulating, worthwhile and often great fun and I believe most members share this opinion.”"
"This association was started with a lot of effort from a few local businessmen and has proved to be a very powerful and useful tool for our business. The BHBPA has influence at the top level; when action is needed, the BHBPA gets it done. We are kept in touch with all that is happening on our doorstep and will often act because of what is published in the weekly emails / newsletters."
"As MP for Mid Sussex I believe passionately in the importance of a vibrant local business community in order to create and sustain fantastic opportunities that enable people to meet their responsibilities, prosper and fulfil their potential. I am committed to collaborating with BHBPA and others to be an effective collective voice for Burgess Hill."
