The beauty of storytelling is that people will listen, if told well. On Monday morning, Aneela Rose of Rose Media Group was invited as the inspirational speaker at the Year 8 assembly to share her fascinating story of how she turned her failures into successes. 172 students listened attentively to how Aneela coped with challenges such as struggling at school and having an identity crisis. Aneela told the students, “Don’t be limited by other people’s judgement or expectations of you, or even your own. Every one of you is unique and talented, so believe in yourself and go follow that dream.”
Aneela says she’s the one who came away inspired. They listened. They smiled. They engaged. They were amazing young people who have bright futures ahead.
