Thank you, BHBPA, for giving me the opportunity to introduce myself and my business to members …
My Story in the UK started in 2002 when I decided to leave my homeland in search of an environment in which I could build a stable future for myself and my family.
Having seen one of my friends start from scratch and achieve great success by establishing a reputable commercial cleaning company, I decided to enter the cleaning industry with only £500 as that was the only capital I could afford at that time.
Starting as a self employed commercial and domestic cleaner was initially a challenge to find work and most of my jobs were obtained through the management cleaning companies which charge a monthly charge for finding cleaning contracts. Over the years I had managed to get enough contracts to allow me to employ another person.
I had also managed to make the effort to go to Uni and got a degree in Business Management in 2012. It complemented my other University degree in Economics very well. I liked the theory I learnt about managing people and I knew that one day I would have the chance to practise and decide for myself what works best.
Recently I have set up my own company Deep Serv Mid Sussex Ltd, part of the Deep Serv Group and all my cleaning contracts have been bought by the company.
I am very proud to still offer cleaning services to my first ever commercial client, The Cuckfield Medical Centre which is now a 17-year-old contract. Most of my other contracts are over 7 years old.
All our members of staff are fully trained, and I look after them as they are my most valuable asset. I believe that the most important aspect of the business is to build our reputation and ensure that the client will have full confidence in us looking after their premises.
