Aneela Rose of Rose Media Group took part in the ABPU British Powerlifting Qualifier last weekend and ecstatically reports that she broke 3 British records in the Masters 56kg body weight class! She broke the first record in squat where she attempted a third lift breaking her own record she just set! Not stopping there, she also went on to break the deadlift record, and with a new bench PB too she scored an overall lifting total of 265kg, setting another British record.
She was crowned the overall Masters champion in the classic lifting category, in her age and weight class qualifying her for the British finals set at this year’s Bodypower show at the NEC in Birmingham.
Afterwards, Aneela had this to say … “I’m astounded at my performance. Wow. I totally smashed it – I don’t know what else to say! Both my coaches said, ‘It all went to plan perfectly!’”
"“We have been members of BHBPA from its inception, and seen the organisation steadily grow and expand into the dynamic entity it is today, bringing positive benefits to all its members.""
"Since joining BHBPA we have found it to be a dynamic and vibrant members’ organisation, with excellent, regular and informative meetings.
Peter Liddell does a first class job in ensuring that members’ interests are aired and addressed.
"“Sutton Winson have been members of the BHBPA for around 7 years. We have found it a great way to keep in touch with Burgess Hill businesses and to meet with likeminded people. It’s not just another “networking” group, as it tackles the real issues and gets things done”"
"“I can’t speak highly enough of the BHBPA. As a small local business we feel very much part of a community and thoroughly enjoy the annual exhibition and meetings throughout the year. Over the years we have built fantastic working relationships with many BHBPA members and every meeting and event offers us opportunities to work with more. This is networking at its best! ” "
