I am writing to extend a personal invitation for your business to represent your industry sector at the cities National Careers Event on March 5th at the American Express Community Stadium from 10am – 6pm.
Coast to Capital, Brighton and Hove Council, Albion in the Community, American Express and Laing O’Rourke have come together to create this event and we are extremely proud to offer you this opportunity to be a part of National Careers Week in the City.
All of the schools in the Greater Brighton Area have been invited to attend and will be bringing with them students from year 9-11 to find out about career routes and give them the opportunity to engage with industry professionals offering the young people an understanding of different sectors and careers opportunities available to them.
The day starts at 9.30 – 4.00 pm for all Secondary Schools in the Greater Brighton area and will then be open to College Students, Parents and the General public from 4 – 6pm giving your business access to a future and a current recruitment pipeline.
The event is completely free with refreshments and lunch provided but if you are able to make a voluntary suggested contribution of £50.00 to support with supplying resources for the students to use on the day that would be amazing.
If this is something that your business would like to come and support? If the answer is yes, you would need a team of staff (approx. 2-4 employees) to support the event. You can then decide if you wish to support your stand in two groups for am and pm or one group to cover the whole day. Whatever you decide, it would be wonderful to welcome you.
This event is a fantastic CSR, team building and networking opportunity too!
If you could reply asap advising of your commitment to attend then that would be fantastic!
Further information will be sent out shortly, highlighting the detail around the event.
I look forward to seeing you there.

"“We have been members of BHBPA from its inception, and seen the organisation steadily grow and expand into the dynamic entity it is today, bringing positive benefits to all its members.""
"“I have belonged to this group since I started my own business, Lea Graham Associates, in 1986. The association has been through several incarnations since then, but its most recent one, BHBPA, is by far the best.
It’s much more than just a networking group, although it is supremely good at that too. BHBPA is inclusive and friendly and acts like a mutual-support society. The events are stimulating, worthwhile and often great fun and I believe most members share this opinion.”"
"Regular, well organised events, excellent updates and information by email along with a warm welcome from the Chair and Coordinator are just some of the positives at BHBPA."
"As MP for Mid Sussex I believe passionately in the importance of a vibrant local business community in order to create and sustain fantastic opportunities that enable people to meet their responsibilities, prosper and fulfil their potential. I am committed to collaborating with BHBPA and others to be an effective collective voice for Burgess Hill."
