News: Scissor Sisters on the Move

Posted on 25th January 2019

I thought I would just give you a little up date on Scissor Sisters Interiors.  This week we have opened a new shop in Burgess Hill!  We have moved in with the ladies at The Mercantile Adventurers on the corner of Cyprus Road.

There are several business in the building including a coffee shop, hairdressers, upholsterer, gifts, painted furniture and jewellery so it really is a treasure trove.  This is a great move for us and means that we are now able to have our fabric library out and available for customers to come and have a browse.  We also have a great range of curtains poles, lampshades, wallpapers, trims & tiebacks all on display.  This all ties in with our curtain making, blind making, soft furnishings and fitting services so it would be great for BHPBA members to pop in and take a look.  Oh and have coffee and cake!

Testimonials

"“I have belonged to this group since I started my own business, Lea Graham Associates, in 1986. The association has been through several incarnations since then, but its most recent one, BHBPA, is by far the best.

It’s much more than just a networking group, although it is supremely good at that too. BHBPA is inclusive and friendly and acts like a mutual-support society. The events are stimulating, worthwhile and often great fun and I believe most members share this opinion.”"

Susan Fleet, Managing Director
(Lea Graham Associates)

"The BHBPA is the most effective and dynamic business organisation I have ever worked with in over 30 years in Local Government. It has a very active and large membership whose points of view are taken seriously by all government structures. Peter Liddell does an excellent job in providing unique and enjoyable networking opportunities where members interact and discuss points of mutual interest. It provides a forum for businesses to discuss common issues, to share experiences and to play a powerful and meaningful role in the Burgess Hill community. The BHBPA provides important and credible support for all its members and ensures that their best interests are represented where necessary. "

Steve Cridland, CEO
(Burgess Hill Town Council)

"I am delighted to have a long-standing relationship with the BHBPA. Since its foundation the Association has gone from strength to strength and there is no doubt that it has brought huge benefits to its members and the business community as a whole through the partnerships it has formed with the local authorities, Sussex Police and local organisations. It is paramount that Burgess Hill businesses have an effective collective voice."

The Hon Nicholas Soames MP

"“I can’t speak highly enough of the BHBPA. As a small local business we feel very much part of a community and thoroughly enjoy the annual exhibition and meetings throughout the year. Over the years we have built fantastic working relationships with many BHBPA members and every meeting and event offers us opportunities to work with more. This is networking at its best! ” "
