News: The 2019 BHBiz Awards Event

This Awards Event was created by the BHBPA two years ago to celebrate some of those local people and companies who work tirelessly to provide a service for the local and wider community throughout the year.  In some cases they have done so for many years without special reward or recognition.  This is your chance to put that right!

These Awards are different from many you may have entered or attended before in that they focus on what really makes an organisation tick – its people and its values, especially their contribution to the community, in this case Burgess Hill and Mid Sussex, in which they operate.

We would encourage all our members to get involved in some aspect of the Awards evening. It represents a great chance to reward people and to promote your business.

The 2nd BHBiz Awards Gala Dinner and Presentation Evening on Friday 10th May, 2019, in the Mayo Wynne Baxter Suite at The Amex Stadium in Brighton, will be a chance to acknowledge and reward those businesses and staff who go the extra mile in making Mid Sussex a great place to live and work.

We warmly encourage you to get involved by:

  1. Submitting your nominations for the BHBiz Awards
  2. Sponsoring one of the 12 Award categories
  3. Taking advantage of other sponsorship opportunities offered
  4. Buying a table of ten places for the Gala Dinner & Presentation Evening
  5. Buying individual tickets for the Gala Dinner & Presentation Evening

You can find a full list of categories for the Awards here.  There are 12 categories for which Awards will be made, and all nominations received will be scrutinised and judged by a group of impartial and experienced business people from the local community. You can enter as many categories as you like.

To nominate a company or person you think is deserving of an Award, please fill out the BHBiz Awards 2019 entry form at bottom of page on the website and return it to peter.liddell@bhbpa.co.uk  by Friday 15th March 2019.  Please note that nominations are limited to companies which are currently members of the BHBPA.

Sponsorships are available for each of the award categories. Look on the website via this link and follow instructions.

Tables of 10 are available for your staff, business colleagues and customers to attend the BHBiz Awards Gala Dinner & Presentation Evening at The Amex Stadium on Friday 10th May.  You can also buy individual tickets.  Prices are listed below.

Our special Awards Night will be a glittering evening of laughter (and possibly a few tears) and exceptional networking.  It will include complimentary on-site parking, red carpet arrival, a Ridgeview drinks reception, three-course dinner with coffee,  professional MC/Speaker and of course the presentation of the BHBiz Awards. If it is half as good as the first one two years ago it will be a night to remember.  It’s a night that’s bound to be talked about and certainly not to be missed!
